From The Current Mess To A Report Someone Can Own
Map The Current Report
The workbook, exports, manual steps and informal checks are mapped before anything is rebuilt. Hidden knowledge is treated as part of the system.
Remove The Brittle Parts
Copy-paste chains, unprotected inputs, mystery lookups and duplicate definitions are either repaired or taken out of the routine.
Rebuild The Measure
The measure is rebuilt around named sources and plain calculation logic, whether the final home is Excel, Power BI or a lighter reporting pack.
Teach The Handover
The owner of the report is shown what to refresh, what to check, what can safely be edited and what should be left alone.
Data Manners
No Hidden Heroics
Version control matters more than cleverness. Source files are named, dated and kept separate from output views. If a calculation affects a management number, it gets a plain-English note.
Dashboardster does not retain live copies after handover unless a care plan is agreed. A mutual NDA is available when factory data, customer names or pricing need formal handling.

On Site And Remote
When A Factory Walk-Through Helps, And When Screen-Share Is Better
On Site
On-site visits are available within roughly 55 miles of Coventry, including Birmingham, Leicester, Warwick, Rugby, Northampton, Worcester and the Black Country. A walk-through helps when the report is tied to physical movement, labels, WIP bays or shift handovers.
Remote
Remote work is available across the UK for Excel, Power BI and reporting process work. Screen-share is often better for formula tracing, data refresh checks and quick reviews where the right people can join for 30 minutes.

A Note From Ruth About Christmas Shutdown
I grew up knowing that a proper works shutdown is not laziness. It is when people get a break, machines get cleaned down, and nobody wants a spreadsheet drama following them into the last Friday before Christmas.
Dashboardster closes for English bank holidays and the Christmas works shutdown. Care-plan clients with a proper production reporting emergency can still email and I will do what has been agreed. New all-night panic fixes from strangers can wait until the factory, and I, are back at the desk.
